Job Description

ACCC Insurance Company is currently hiring a Property Damage Liability Claims Team Lead for the Claims Department. 

Our ideal candidate will have Senior Property Damage Adjuster experience and or Team Lead experience. The Team Lead provides supervision, training, and evaluation to the in-house adjuster staff. As a member of the management group, the Team Lead represents the company in areas within the scope of position. This position will report to the Claims Supervisor.  

Core Responsibilities of the Claims Team Lead include:

  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
  • Reviews coverage denial requests
  • Availability to Adjuster staff to assist in issues, concerns, questions, and problems that may arise
  • Completes special projects, as requested by supervisor or manager
  • Knowledgeable on state and public legal matters as it applies to the automobile insurance industry
  • Assists Claims Supervisor in performing audit control and employee evaluation to insure compliance with ACCC standards
  • Proficient computer skills in traditional formats such as Microsoft Office Products
  • Will assist with coaching, mentoring and training
  • Team Lead’s will assist with diary management and working claim files as warranted
  • Adheres to and ensures compliance with all ACCC policies and procedures, as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

 

Job Requirements

To qualify, candidates must meet the following skill-sets:

  • Three (3) or more years of related experience
  • Senior claims (property damage and liability experience
  • Previous team lead experience preferred
  • Non-standard experience preferred
  • Texas Property & Casualty License or All Lines license required
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • Must be professional, react well under pressure
  • Treats employees and clients with respect and consideration regardless of status and position
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills required
