Job Description

ACCC Insurance Company is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Recruiter to join our Houston, TX corporate Human Resources department.

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for the management of the entire recruiting process of positions needed company wide. The Recruiter strives to achieve and exceed staffing goals and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize job boards and other innovative methods to manage job advertisements
  • Manage the full life cycle of the recruiting process
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to review candidate requirements and desired start dates
  • Work with hiring managers in the interviewing and selection of desired candidates
  • Maintain a pipeline of candidates within open and assigned requisitions including maintenance of candidate pools for future hiring needs
  • Effectively screen candidates through phone, virtual and in-person interviews
  • Actively manage candidate workflow steps including touching all pending candidates within 24 hours
  • Complete weekly updates to management including candidate updates and assigned requisitions
  • Complete monthly hiring reports to management
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System job templates and user accounts
  • Comply with labor laws and fair hiring practices as required per state and federal laws and department regulation
  • Verify background and drug screening results receive favorable results
  • Complete Recruiter Onboarding Program and maintain a positive relationship with employees following start of employment
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Provides excellent customer service to employees and management of ACCC Insurance Company and affiliates
  • Assist in planning, hosting, and attending department, office, and company-wide events
  • Continually develops HR and recruiting knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

To qualify, candidates must meet the following skill-sets:

  • Demonstrates ability to multitask, organize, take initiative, and follow up independently
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional typing and computer skills, as well as technical knowledge of MS Office products, Windows, HRIS, and ATS
  • Uses knowledge and resources to make informed decisions
  • Willingness to actively participate in development trainings
  • Conduct or participate in observation of company positions
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Listen and communicate effectively
  • Present a professional and helpful appearance

 Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Three (3) or more years of related experience
  • Proficient in recruitment techniques
  • Proficiency in state and federal hiring and labor laws

Pre-Hire Requirements:

  • Must be willing to submit to background checks including identity, criminal background, credit history, employment verifications, and drug screening.
