Job Description

ACCC Insurance Company is currently hiring a Fast Track Claims Team Lead for the Claims Department. 

Position Summary:

The Team Lead within the Fast Track claims team assists the Claims Supervisor in training and coaching of the claims staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews coverage denial requests
  • Availability to Adjuster staff to assist in issues, concerns, questions, and problems that may arise
  • Completes special projects, as requested by the Claims Supervisor or Claims Manager
  • Will assist with coaching, mentoring and training of Property Damage Adjuster staff including newly hired team members
  • Assist with diary management and working claim files
  • Adheres to, and ensures compliance with, all ACCC policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


Job Requirements

To qualify, candidates must meet the following skill-sets:

  • Demonstrates ability to multitask, organize, take initiative, and follow up independently
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional typing and computer skills, as well as technical knowledge of MS Office products and Windows
  • Uses knowledge and resources to make informed decisions
  • Willingness to actively participate in development trainings
  • Conduct or participate in observation of company positions
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Listen and communicate effectively
  • Present a professional and helpful appearance

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Three (3) or more years of related experience
  • Senior property damage and liability claims experience
  • Property & Casualty license required
  • Previous team lead experience preferred
  • Non-standard experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable on state and public legal matters as it applies to the automobile insurance industry

Pre-Hire Requirements:

  • Must be willing to submit to background checks including identity, criminal background, credit history, employment verifications, and drug screening.
