Job Description

ACCC Insurance Company is currently seeking a Claims Clerk to join the claims clerical team.

Essential functions of the Claims Clerk include:

  • Complete diary tasks including voiding, resending, and coping of checks
  • Print claims department checks
  • Print attachments for payments as needed from Adjusters and make proper documentation within the claim file
  • Fold and seal all outgoing payments
  • Request payments
  • Close salvage reserves when payments are received, make proper documentation in claim file, and enter payments for the Accounting Department
  • Assume other responsibilities as needed


Job Requirements

To qualify, candidates must meet the following skill-sets:

  • Skilled computer skills as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook products.
  • Ability to translate, speak and write English. Spanish helpful but not required.
  • Data Entry (accuracy a must).
  • Clearly explain claims procedures to callers and accurately obtain all required information.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Professionalism required.
  • Auto insurance and/or claims experience preferred.
  • Reliable in attendance and punctuality.
